For its part, Victoria’s Secret is an American lingerie, clothing, and beauty retailer known for high visibility marketing and branding, starting with a popular catalog and followed by an annual fashion show with supermodels dubbed Angels. The company was founded in 1977.

How Pink Credit Card will work

So you are a regular customer of Victoria’s Secret and want to take advantage of the benefits of having a Victoria’s Secret credit card.

Once you receive your new card, there are still a few things to do before you can keep using your card and exclusive perks.

1. Activate your new chip card.
2. Add your new card to your VictoriasSecret.com profile for seamless shopping. Sign in to update your profile.
3. For any scheduled or automatic payments on your Victoria Credit Card, update your card number with your bank.

Once everything is ready, then you’ll have $25 off on your first purchase.

Victoria’s Secret’s credit card works at the brand’s stores and website, and at sister companies PINK and Bath & Body Works.

Cardholder benefits

There are three different reward tiers for the Pink Credit Card, according to your total spending over a 12-month period—basic, silver, and gold. It is important to note that even if you qualify once for tier three, if you do not maintain your level of spending, you will have your tier reduced, and so will your benefits, of course.

All cardholders earn one point for each $1 of net new purchases on their Victoria’s Secret credit card. To get an upgrade, the cardholder must reach a certain level of spending.

The second tier is the Victoria silver card. Cardholders need to earn 250 points on their Victoria’s Secret card in a rolling 12-month period to qualify. Silver cardholders accrue points at the same level and rate as a basic Victoria cardholder, and receive the same annual $10 reward and birthday treat, but accrue additional benefits, such as a half-birthday treat of $10 and a 15% discount on the anniversary of their sign-up.

The top tier is the Victoria gold card. To qualify, instead of the silver card’s 250 points, the cardholder must earn 500 points on their Victoria’s Secret credit card within a rolling 12-month period. Additional perks of being a gold cardholder include $15 birthday and half-birthday treats and a 20% anniversary discount.

There’s also a free shipping benefit on $50+ orders at Victoria’s Secret or PINK with Victoria’s Secret credit card.

So, what would be the downsides of this card?

Well, certainly the fact that its use is restricted to the Victoria’s Secret and PINK stores. While you may also use the card at Bath & Body Works stores, you will not earn Angel Reward points on those purchases.

There is also the problem that you must make at least one purchase every 12 months, otherwise you lose all the points you have accumulated on your Pink Credit Card.

Another negative point is its high variable interest rate of 24.99%.
