Learn how to apply for the Pink Credit Card
The credit card designed for those who are regulars at Victoria's Secret. Enjoy the benefits for three different spending tiers.
I’m interested in the Pink Credit Card. What are the next steps?
The Pink Credit Card offers a handful of good benefits to frequent Victoria’s Secret shoppers, at a 0% annual fee.
If you are a regular customer of Victoria’s Secret, I’m sure will enjoy this card. In this Victoria’s Secret credit card program you will have $25 off on your first purchase and 5% cashback in rewards.
The $25 is an initial offer that comes with “The Little Book of Offers”, a plus for more discounts in the store.
Once you have your Pink Credit Card in hand, you will be eligible for one of three card tiers – basic, silver, and gold. Your qualification will depend on how many points you accumulate over 12 months.
All cardholders earn one point for every dollar spent.
With 250 points in 12 months, you are upgraded to a silver cardmember, and with another 250 points, which means 500 in total, you become a gold cardmember, the tier at which the best rewards and perks of the Pink Credit Card are available.
Of course, as with most proprietary store cards, Victoria’s Secret’s card mainly works best for those who regularly purchase the brand’s products.
Pink Credit Card customers enjoy free shipping in qualifying in-stock items totaling $50.00 USD (after all discounts are applied). However, free shipping is limited to orders shipped within the United States only.
To receive your half-birthday treat, you must:
- be a Silver or Gold Cardmember.
- provide your email to TheVictoriaCreditCardProgram.com or ThePINKCreditCardProgram.com to qualify.
- have made a purchase at Victoria’s Secret or PINK in the previous 12 months, starting two months prior to the event.
- have an account that is not in default.
- have a valid email address and U.S. mailing address.
Your eligibility for this perk is determined two months prior to your half-birthday month.
Who can apply?
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid government-issued photo ID and U.S. Social Security number, and must be a resident of the United States with a valid mailing address. Comenity Bank verifies personal information and obtains a copy of a consumer’s credit report when making its decision to extend credit to a potential cardholder.
The credit limit on the card depends on the applicant’s personal credit history and finances. That being said, store credit cards often seem easier to qualify for than general-use cards.
How to apply?
If you are a U.S. resident with a street, rural route, or APO/FPO mailing address (not a PO Box) AND you are over the age of 18, you have two options to apply:
Online: visit Victoria’s Secret website to complete an application online.
In a store: visit a Victoria’s Secret or PINK store.
Is it worth applying for the Pink Credit Card?
Since the Victoria card doesn’t cost anything to own, obtaining and using one responsibly can be a way for someone with a limited credit history to build up a good record.
Pink Credit Card vs Premier Bank Card Mastercard
The Premier Bank Card Mastercard is a credit card recommended for those with bad credit to fair. Despite its original intent, the high fees put it at a disadvantage compared to the Pink Credit Card – which can be used for this purpose as well.
To put those fees in perspective, let’s say you were approved for this card with a $600 credit limit. In your first year as a cardholder, you’d pay a $75 program fee, a $79 annual fee, a $70.20 monthly fee, and an assessed $5.85 per month. All told, you’d pay $224.20 in non-refundable fees.
That, of course, provided you are considering the idea of doing some shopping at Victoria’s Secret in the next 12 months.
Pink Credit Card pros:
- $25 off on your first purchase.
- 2% back in rewards when you use the card on dining, travel, and streaming services.
- Free Shipping on $+50 orders.
- $10 birthday gift.
Premier Bank Card Mastercard pros:
- An unsecured card option for people with bad or no credit.
- First Premier reports positive payment history to three credit bureaus.
