What do I need to know about Discover it® chrome?

The introductory APR on purchases and balance transfers is Discover it® Chrome’s most alluring feature. Although there are cards that don’t charge a fee for balance transfers, they are becoming almost universal among cards with strong selections, and this card is no exception.

The introductory periods are superior to many alternatives, but not the offers with other balance transfer cards that last for 18 months or more.

The Discover it® Chrome’s rewards program offers 2% cash back at restaurants and petrol stations on up to $1,000 in combined purchases per quarter.

Moreover, all additional purchases will earn you an infinite 1% cash back. However, Discover Cashback doubles all cash back earned at the end of the first year as a cardholder, but It does not offer a welcome bonus.

How does the Discover it® chrome work?

An infinite 1% cash back on all transactions is offered by a huge number of cash-back cards.

On up to $1,000 in combined purchases per quarter at gas stations and restaurants, the Discover it® chrome offers 2% cash back. Earn 1% cash back on all additional transactions without restriction.

Cardholders that take full advantage of this feature can receive $20 in cash back every three months, or $80 a year. For the first year only, Discover Cashback Match doubles that, making the maximum return from the highest earning category $160.

One excellent feature of the Discover it® Chrome card is the simple cash-back reward, which is redeemable at any time for any amount. Rewards are credited to the account when the account is canceled and never expires.

You will have an interest-free period available if you want to make a significant purchase or transfer a balance: 0% initial APR for 15 months on purchases and balance transfers, followed by an ongoing APR of 14.99%-25.99% Variable APR.

Discover Perks

Discover offers free access to your FICO score, 100 percent U.S.-based customer service, monitoring of your Social Security number, and forgiveness for your first late payment (but try not to be late).

Furthermore, it gives the option to freeze and unfreeze your account in the event that your card is lost or your information is compromised.
