Priceline VIP Rewards™ Visa® Card full review
If you typically reserve your journey on Priceline, you must become familiar with this card and its benefits.
What do I need to know about the Priceline VIP Rewards™ Visa® Card?
One of the leading online travel agencies (OTA) that American consumers utilize to discover affordable travel is Priceline. Customers may conveniently book flights, hire cars, cruises, and more.
The VIP Rewards Visa credit card is the new credit card that Priceline is now offering.
Before launching this new credit card, Priceline gained notoriety by allowing customers to set the price for any item they wanted to buy. But in 2020, that function was eliminated.
Those who frequently use the online bargain travel agency and want to earn rewards rapidly for subsequent travel are the target market for the Barclays-issued Priceline VIP Rewards Visa® Card.
This no-annual-fee card can help someone maximize the value of their Priceline bookings by allowing them to accrue points more quickly.

How does the Priceline VIP Rewards™ Visa® Card work?
The Priceline VIP card offers 5 points for every $1 spent on Priceline bookings, 2 points for every dollar spent on gas and dining out (including delivery), and 1 point for every dollar spent on all other transactions. There is no annual charge for the card.
The VIP Gold status with Priceline, which grants discounts of up to 50% on hotels and up to 20% on car rentals, as well as exclusive offers and coupons not made accessible to the general public, is also available to cardholders.
The card offers free access to your FICO score, no foreign transaction fees, and the chance to get your TSA PreCheck or Global Entry application fee reimbursed if you use it to make $10,000 in purchases during your cardmember year.
This credit for reimbursement is available annually.
After making $1,000 in purchases during the first 90 days of starting their account, new applicants can take advantage of a sign-up incentive of 10,000 bonus points.
When redeeming points for one penny each, the bonus becomes worth $100.
Additionally, new applicants are eligible for a 15-month introductory APR of 0% on balance transfers completed within 45 days of account activation.
A variable APR of 18.24% to 28.24% will then be in effect.
Transferring a balance will cost money.
Earn money even when you are redeeming!
Priceline will begin using PricePoints with its Priceline VIP card on September 15. Cardholders will be able to earn points even when redeeming them thanks to this new functionality.
Although the portion of your booking where you save points is now included, cardholders will still earn 5 points for every dollar spent on Priceline bookings.
So let’s say you pay $350 for a flight and use 10,000 points to pay $100 of the cost. In the past, you could only receive 5 points for every dollar spent on the final $250 of your purchase.
From this point forward, you will accumulate 1750 points (5 points per dollar) on the total amount, which in this case is $350.
How to redeem my points?
During the booking procedure, cardholders can choose “Redeem Points” and choose the number of points they want to utilize (at a cost of 1 cent per point, 100 points are worth $1).
The whole “Pay Now” sum will be charged to card members at the time of booking, and they will receive 5 points for every dollar spent.
Cardholders will get a statement credit for the amount of the redeemed points within three to five days.
Many point-and-mile programs are worth more to us than just one penny per point. But it’s a valuable feature to quickly redeem your points or use them to pay for travel expenses for which you can’t utilize points beforehand.
